The hotel is located just five minutes walk from Russell Square underground station. Within fifteen minutes walk are Covent Garden, Oxford Street and lively Theatreland.

The rooms are small and in fair condition with bright colour schemes. The hotel has a vast array of different types of rooms, (double rooms are not available) with up to 20 beds, most rooms (including twins) are with bunk beds. Facilities are shared with a maximum of ten other guests and bathrooms are in good condition. However, the rooms do have their own small steel wash basins. Rooms have combination key locks, rather than keys.

The restaurant is on the ground floor and is decorated in the same style as the rest of the hotel, with polished silver tables and plenty of exposed metal work. The hotel also benefits from a lively bar, game rooms with a pool table and game machines.
