The hotel is located just on the edge of the Luxor centre, a few minutes' walk from the market located on the east bank of the river. It is a good location for Nile boat cruises and access to the temple in Karnak.

The bedrooms are medium-sized and pleasantly newly furnished using green and brown colours. The tiled bathrooms are kept in good condition but are small in size although, like the rooms, they are very clean.

The large main restaurant is pleasantly appointed and overlooks the Nile. It offers a very high standard of predominantly international cuisine, served buffet style. It is furnished in blue and green colours with a central buffet area. There is also a pizza restaurant in the rear garden and a newly renovated bar area offering views of the gardens and the Nile.
